Cet album concept a bris\u00e9 de nombreuses barri\u00e8res tant musicales que sexuelles et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 tout un \u00e9l\u00e9ment d\u00e9clencheur pour ce qui allait venir dans le vaste monde artistique mondial.  Socialement parlant, cet album explorait de nombreux tabous et incitait les gens \u00e0 assumer leur sexualit\u00e9 et l\u2019afficher au grand jour et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 un pr\u00e9curseur de ce qu\u2019on \u00e9tiquette aujourd\u2019hui comme \u00e9tant LGBTQ+.  Il est \u00e9videment un album tr\u00e8s \u00ab woke \u00bb avant son temps, m\u00eame si ce terme n\u2019existait pas \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque et qu\u2019il est utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 outrance aujourd\u2019hui pour d\u00e9crire ce dont certains humains ont peur d\u2019affronter ou m\u00eame de s\u2019avouer.  Musicalement parlant, Bowie revenait \u00e0 des sonorit\u00e9s beaucoup plus rock qui conduiront directement au Punk et au Post Punk des ann\u00e9es plus tard et avec le c\u00f4t\u00e9 conceptuel d\u2019une rock star androgyne et bisexuelle venue de l\u2019espace en sauveur pour nous \u00e9viter une apocalypse imminente, le ton Proto Punk \u00e9tait donn\u00e9 et on ne pourrait plus revenir en arri\u00e8re.
