Elle est pr\u00e9sente depuis le tout d\u00e9but, elle \u00e9tait une proche des Sex Pistols, elle travaillait \u00e0 la boutique Sex et elle a grandement contribu\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement du Punk, du Gothic Rock et du Post Punk. Elle a fond\u00e9 son propre groupe avec Steven Severin qui \u00e9tait l\u00e0 lui aussi depuis le d\u00e9but, \u00e0 ses c\u00f4t\u00e9s. Ensemble ils ont b\u00e2ti une sonorit\u00e9 unique, une fougue musicale hors du commun. Siouxie and the Banshees est ce qu\u2019il fallait pour que tout bascule et son premier album fut un manifeste noir qui en disait long. Beaucoup plus positif que le Punk en \u00e9tant tout aussi agressif, le son de Siouxie and the Banshees a forg\u00e9 le Gothic Rock \u00e0 grands coups de riffs, de textes noirs et de look incroyablement beau.
