Beneath the Encasing of Ashes contenait des riffs suffisamment puissants pour permettre au groupe Am\u00e9ricain de para\u00eetre dans cette \u00e9volution m\u00e9tallique.  As I Lay Dying a popularis\u00e9 les petits accords dissonants et les changements de tempo bizarres propres au Metalcore et ce premier album fut une influence majeure pour le d\u00e9veloppement du genre.  Mais ne vous m\u00e9prenez pas! Si je parle de cet album c\u2019est uniquement pour ses sonorit\u00e9s un peu plus brutales et son soup\u00e7on d\u2019originalit\u00e9.  C\u2019est le type d\u2019album qui donnait espoir aux fans de Metalcore d\u2019enfin faire partie du vaste univers m\u00e9tallique mais dans les faits, est-ce que le Metalcore peut faire partie de la grande famille?
